Power Technology Solutions (PTS) limited was formed in August 1999 by Duncan Mansfield and Daniel Ferguson.
The company was originally created as an Engineering consultancy working on behalf of Norweb Distribution (now United Utilities Electricity) managing the 11kV/33kV/132kV asset replacement programme.
The company soon developed and expanded its range of services and began offering these to other utilities/Distribution Network Operators, heavy industrial users, major switchgear manufacturers and ESI approved contractors.
Power Technology Solutions now offers its clients a comprehensive range of services, with experience and expertise in working on 11kV, 33kV, 132kV, 275kV, and 400kV high voltage power system projects. PTS has successful teams that cover the full project life cycle, including Design, Construction, Commissioning, Operational and Project Management services.
The company has its Head office in Hazel Grove, Cheshire and currently employs over 90 staff. Further offices are located in Chislehurst, Greater London and Hillington, Glasgow.
