The company will shortly be opening a new depot in Kent to support the company’s activities in the South East of England.
This new unit will be in addition to existing locations in the South and will support PTS engineers in the region, enabling them to deliver their projects in a more timely and efficient manner. |

| APRIL '10 - PTS and CG |
|
|
|
PTS is delighted to announce that the company has been acquired by Crompton Greaves Limited (“CG”), effective from Wednesday 31st March 2010. CG is the flagship company of the US$4bn Avantha Group, an Indian listed company and a global player in the T&D market.
CG has acquired PTS to act as a platform for future growth in the UK, and the deal provides PTS with an opportunity to develop into a leading solutions company in the market. The current management team, headed by Duncan Mansfield and Daniel Ferguson, is very committed to the long term success of PTS and will continue to drive the company forward.
The backing of CG allows PTS to undertake a considerably increased scope of works in support of our clients’ requirements and we look forward to building on existing relationships and developing many new relationships over the years ahead.

| FEBRUARY '10 - HR Administrator Position Available |

| A positive, highly motivated administrator required to provide administration support to Human Resources. The successful candidate will be able to deal with priorities in a busy office environment and must possess a minimum of two years experience of office administration. The applicant must be fully IT literate including the use of databases and spreadsheets and take a flexible approach to your work.
It is important that you appreciate the importance of confidentiality and be able to work on your own initiative to meet deadlines, and possess effective communication skills.

Both the Thanet Bay 1 and Thanet Bay 2 132kV windfarm circuits have been successfully installed, commissioned and energized providing connection for the Thanet offshore windfarm onto the EDF network. |

Danny and I are very proud of the way that we have grown from strength to strength over the past 10 years and have found the journey both satisfying and challenging. The last 10 years have crept up on us quite quickly, we just hope the next 10 years don’t go by as fast!

Has completed 2 year qualification of the Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management at Salford University. Progressed to Graduate
membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD). Will be going forward to complete a 3rd year to gain a Masters. |

| MAY '09 - BUPA GREAT MANCHESTER RUN, MANCHESTER 10km |

PTS would like to congratulate the staff who participated in the Bupa Great Manchester Run on 17 May 2009. The event is one of Britain’s premier 10km runs and incorporates all the top sights of central Manchester. The event attracted over 33,000 runners and was hugely supported. Congratulations to the PTS staff on completing the course and raising money for your chosen charity.
