At Power Technology Solutions we are constantly involved in a large number of projects; from small scale projects which may take only several man days to complete, or large scale projects lasting months. The following list provides an idea of the kind of projects we are currently involved in, with a variety of clients:
Our Design Team is involved in work on a new BSP (132/33kv) Substation. The Construction and Commissioning teams are involved in the Remote Ends work.

Design, Installation and Commissioning work for this UU Networks Wind Farm project.
- Cowley 400/132kV Substation
Design Team are working on the interface engineering for the new SGT6 at Cowley.
- Dalswinton 33 kV Wind farm
Design, Installation and Commissioning work on this UU Networks Wind Farm project.
- Rayleigh Main SGT3 Bay (Siemens)
Design team working on the Interface for the new SGT3 at Rayleigh Main Substation.
Protection Modifications at Ffestiniog Power Station.
- Wooton Common 132kV Substation
Design work for a replacement disconnector in collaboration with Birse
- Netley Common 132kV Substation
Design work for new Circuit Breaker and disconnector in collaboration with Birse
Commissioning/SAP services
- Penrith 132/33kV Substation
GT Replacement.
Design, install and commissioning protection change for Siemens and National Grid. Substations Control System (SCS) change. Includes Private Network work.
- Ancoates North Primary Substation
Installation of three AVC Panels. 11kV Switchgear extensions
- Kingsway Construction Commissioning
Install new 33/11kV Primary Substation
Install new 33/6.6kV Primary Substation.
132kV/33kV wind farm (onshore) substation Design.
Replacement 90MVA grid transformer.
